RENTAL & HABITAT
WELDING HABITAT
Welding habitats are used to enable hot work in environments where such work would normally require extensive shutdowns.
With our welding habitat, maintenance and repair work can be carried out safely and without unnecessary shutdowns, saving both time and resources.
The two most important functions of the welding habitat system are:
- Prevent sparks/spatter from hot work from escaping the habitat.
- Prevent flammable gases from entering the habitat. This is done by creating positive pressure in the habitat.
Using the welding habitat is a cost-effective and temporarily safe solution for performing hot work. Our habitat system also offers temperature control, making it ideal for a variety of specialized tasks.
With the welding habitat, you can ensure efficient and safe working conditions while reducing costs and minimizing downtime.
ATEX/EX Certified Habitat System for Zone 1 & 2
Our habitat system, including all its components, is ATEX/EX certified for use in Zone 1 and 2. The habitat covers are made of robust, flame-retardant sailcloth, and are supplied in modules that are assembled together with zippers and sealed with Velcro to achieve the desired size and shape.
If necessary, we can also produce special sizes to meet specific requirements for different jobs, ensuring that your project is carried out safely and efficiently.
